Nick Speed on F.O.K.U.S. Radio [1.17.10]

F.O.K.U.S. Radio with Nick Speed & Vaughan T

Nick Speed (G-Unit Records/Libido Sounds) stopped by F.O.K.U.S. Radio with sneak peaks of his upcoming projects & some unreleased gems. Vaughan T of the Athletic Mic League & Lab Techs (please get familiar) also came through to chill and talk shop.

While most know Nick for his production work for the likes of 50, Kweli, etc., Sunday’s show gave us a taste of Nick Speed the artist. Check the YouTube clips and show audio for previews of Nick’s solo debut This Side Of The Speaker (set to drop in May).

Nick also announced that he’ll be producing Blue Raspberry (!) of Wu-Tang fame’s next album. Blue will be going by the name of Candy Green, and the album is tentatively titled Candy Green: A Blue Raspberry Story.

Towards the close of the show, Nick let loose a vintage eLZhi demo track:
